Ego

To Clarify the reason behind her name, first I must give you the defenition of the word, Ego:

In psychoanalytic theory, the division of the psyche that is conscious, most immediately controls thought and behavior, and mediates between the person and external reality.

now to her description.
Ego, docile, the personification of rage. Genderless, refered to as female. Black, like a shadow. No nose, no ears. In this form, her weapons are her words, spoken from a harsh and wild voice, the kind that screeches and reels, fast and abbrasive like static in the mind. Though she has been know to give a swift backhand. The chains are logic, they are what bind her, keep her from taking things too far.. Logic Trumps Rage. Always. A metal plate covers her eyes.. she only sees truths.

but if her eyeshield breaks

She can see the lies, and she will not stop until she has ripped and maimed the lies, and the ones that spred/live them. Any abbration made will result in extra limbs springng from the wounds, so to keep the attacker at bay, so that no one can stop her. This is what the chains are for, to keep her at bay from going too far. (she is only ever seen with 1 eye exposed.. I don't even think I could even ettempt the express the immense fury of rage at which both her eyes would be exposed to the sick of lies..)
